After they are both lost, they fall asleep. Oberon applies the love potion to Demetrius and the anecdote to Lysander and Titania. Once Demetrius wakes and finds Helena he falls in love with her. Hermia and Lysander also enter, and both pairs, now united, return to Athens while Oberon, Puck, and Titania remain in the forest.
